'Company Study IV is a section of a large field peopled with sunflowers. The work celebrates a physical beauty found in the presence of the material, drawing us into the illusion of the image. There is an implied duality of robustness and fragility, rupturing the deceit of painting. I am more than happy to support The Eve Appeal as a woman and as someone whose family has recently been affected’ (Hannah Maybank, 2014).
