Arabic manuscript on paper 381ff. plus seven fly-leaves, each folio with 15ll. of black naskh script, each line in cloud band on gold ground, with gold roundel verse markers, sura headings in red thuluth script on gold ground within illuminated cartouche, text within black-ruled gold frame, section markers within illuminated marginal medallions, with catchwords, opening bifolio very finely illuminated in gold and polychrome, preceded by a double shamsa amidst very fine illumination, and an index similarly illuminated in gold and polychrome, colophon rubbed off, in Qajar floral binding, folios loose in binding
