Gouache heightened with gold on paper, Maharana Ari Singh aims a long gun through a window in an elegant hunting lodge at a tiger which is attacking an ox, ladies of the court in elegant gold and orange costumes hold other weapons behind with the rest of the hunting party, the landscape at dusk set with dense vegetation and intersected by a meandering stream with the moon rising above, set within black rules on plain margins, backed, mounted, framed and glazed
