The lobed body and four legs are decorated with lotus sprays, which on the underside surround a circular medallion divided into quadrants by the demarcations of the lobes. Lotus scroll decorates the neck and outer mouth rim, and lotus and flower scroll the sides of the upswept handles below a blue shou character on top. The decoration is reserved on a finely mottled ground of yellowish-green color. The lobed cover is similarly decorated below a large gilt-copper finial chased with a coiled, horned dragon.
