Compare to two pairs of Kangxi-marked yellow-glazed dishes of the same small size, incised in the interior with a dragon and phoenix rather than two dragons, and with dragons on the exterior, one pair in the collection of the Hong Kong Museum of Art included in their exhibition, The Wonders of the Potter's Palette, 1984-85, no. 38, the other sold at Christie's New York, 3 December 1992, lot 320.
