The globular body of the tea pot is enamelled with a continuous scene depicting ladies engaging in various leisurely activities in a fenced garden detailed with ornamental rocks and trees, accompanied by a boy holding a ruyi, all below a wicker-wrapped metal overhead handle. The spout is painted with a black leafy scroll on a pink ground. The cover is decorated in shades of pink with a flowerhead surmounted by a gilt bud-finial. The four-legged stand has ruyi-shaped aprons decorated with lotus blooms with curly tendrils. The circular receptacle is pierced with a band of flowerheads.
