拍品专文

This miniature piano was given as a wedding present to H.R.H. The Princess Margaret on the occasion of her marriage to Antony Charles Robert Armstrong-Jones, Earl of Snowdon, on 6th May 1960, by Lady Mary Strachey, Lady In Waiting to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II from 1944-1947.

The finely painted music score appears to be The Gallop, a popular dance composition by Johann Strauss II (d. 1899).
