A view of the East Front of Wynyard House

Notably Carmichael captures a view of Wynard Hall two years before the completion of the nineteen year long rebuilding project by Philip Wyatt which was begun in 1822. In 1841, five years after this view was executed Wynyard was tragically gutted by fire.
