Oval, the stand on four collapsible lion's paw and scroll feet, the kettle with fluted spout and wicker bound swing handle, the detachable cover with petalled finial, engraved on each side with coat-of-arms below marquess' coronet, the cover later engraved with crest within the Garter Motto cartouche below a marquess' coronet, marked under kettle, on stand, legs, lamp, cover bezel and lamp cover bezel

gross weight, 52 oz. 1 dwt. (1,620 gr.)
The arms are those of Stewart quartering another, probably for Charles, 3rd Marquess of Londonderry K.G. (1778-1854).
