Of rectangular form composed of four equal compartments each with domed hinged lids and cusped edges, the surface decorated in openwork with floral patterns within cusped arches, the lids with rectangular curved handles with round finials, central screw with the head in the form of a double flower bud, the underside of the box with cusped cartouches surrounding a central medallion each with an engraved bird or animal on scrolling floral ground, the decorative panels surrounded by borders with traces of gilding
