The obverse with Herakles wrestling the Nemean lion, his bow, quiver and cloak suspended above, to the right Athena stands, wearing helmet and holding circular shield with tripod device; the reverse with Dionysos, wearing chiton and dotted himation, a drinking horn in his left hand, an ivy garland draped across his shoulders, his wreathed head turned back to look at a dancing satyr, linked palmettes around neck, palmettes and lotus bud tendrils below the handles, details in added red and white
