MING DYNASTY (1368-1644)
The first is a carving of a phoenix with its head turned over its shoulder and its feathers carved and incised to the stone. The stone is of a dark celadon and cream tone with black veins and inclusions. The second is a pale celadon jade figure of a crane carrying russet-coloured lotus leaves.
