Fascinated by Jan Vermeer's iconic Girl with a Pearl Earring, by painting, Elias Izoli metaphorically donates a pearl earring to help refugees. In the artist's own words : 'Yes the girl is sad, not because she donated her pearl earring to help millions of refugees, but simply because not enough is being done to help them'.
