Each of typical form, comprising seventeen of walrus ivory, many with red coral terminals, three with horn heads and ivory shafts, eleven made from single pieces of dark ox horn of which one has mother-of-pearl overlay, seven with coconut-shell heads and coral finials, three further coconut-shell heads with mother-of-pearl overlaid on the shaft, seven with tortoiseshell heads, ivory shafts and coral terminals, one carved wooden spoon painted with a polychrome floral design and varnished and one broken spoon with a coconut shell head and an ivory shaft
