TWO MOTTLED JADEITE SNUFF BOTTLES

One of flattened, ovoid shape is raised on a flat oval foot and is carved on the narrow sides with a pair of lion-mask and ring handles. The stone shades from greenish white to pale lavender on one side, and to apple green on the reverse. The other is of rounded, spade shape, and is raised on a flat, oval foot ring surrounding a slightly concave base. The stone is of dark mottled greenish-white color.
2 1/8 and 2¼ in. (5.4 and 5.7 cm.) high, one coral stopper and one coral-colored stopper (2)
