TWO CAMEO AGATE SNUFF BOTTLES

Both utilize the brown areas of the semi-translucent stone for the decoration. On one, of rounded square shape, is a scene of an immortal with a basket-hung pole slung over one shoulder facing a monkey holding a fruit-laden peach branch. On the other, of rounded rectangular shape, one side is carved with a bearded scholar and an attendant drifting in a log boat below a dragonfly on the shoulder.
2 5/16 and 2 3/16 in. (5.8 and 5.6 cm.) high, coral, and glass and silver stoppers (2)
