TANG DYNASTY (AD 618-907)
Each standing figure has a full face modeled with delicate features below an elaborate helmet-like coiffure, and is shown with her head tilted to the side, and wearing a shawl tucked into the top of her long skirt while her hands are hidden within the long sleeves of her undergarment. Both have traces of orangy-red and black pigment and the long left sleeve of one figure is partially covered in an amber glaze.
