the rectangular case with fluted angles and with blue porcelain panels within beaded borders, those to the side painted with swallows amidst flowers, the dial with individual Roman chapters within gilt decoration, applied with enamel, coloured glass and rhinestones, a scene of a courting couple below. with glass rear door, the twin barrel movement with strike on bell -- 14½in.(37cm.) high; and the pair of covered side urns en suite, of baluster outline, with female mask handles and pineapple finials, each decorated with courting scenes and on fluted socles to canted square bases -- 16½in.(42cm.) high; French, last quarter 19th century
