Sewell London on a silvered sector in the matted centre, with calendar aperture, silvered chapter ring with pierced blued hands, foliate spandrels, strike/silent ring in the arch, the five pillar twin fusee movement with verge escapement and strike on later bell, the backplate profusely engraved with scrolling foliage around a basket, the associated and adapted case with stepped top and gilt-brass bracket feet -- 20in.(50cm.) high
