Exchange Alley London, with crown and crossed mace spandrels, the single train movement with gut fusee and later anchor escapement, backplate engraved and further signed

William Webster, Exchange Alley, London, was a member of the Clockmakers' Company from 1710 until his death in 1734, having formerly served as an apprentice to Thomas Tompion.
