AN UNUSUAL PAIR OF LONGQUAN CELADON BOTTLE VASES
MING DYNASTY, 15TH/16TH CENTURY
Each vase is well potted of elegant pear shape supported on a slightly spreading circular foot, each with a globular body gently tapering towards a long straight neck everted at the mouth and covered all over in an attractive even light sea-green glaze suffused with a network of diagonal crackles.
