SONG DYNASTY (960-1279)
Of rounded conical form with a bowstring band below the rim on the exterior, the bowl is carved on the interior with a single lotus bloom borne on a scrolling leafy tendril below a faintly incised line border. The bowl is covered with an olive-green glaze with the exception of the unglazed foot.
