拍品专文

The techniques of paste inlay and enamel employed on the current compass are typical of the Canton workshops and can also be seen on clocks made for the Imperial court. For comparables, see examples of embellished clocks from the Nezu Museum Collection sold at Christie's Hong Kong, 27 May 2008, lots 1501-1515.
