The kettle pear-shaped with an overhead part turned-wood handle, the hinged cover with part wood finial, the stand on three scroll legs with pad feet and with a central lamp with detachable cover, engraved with a coat-of-arms, marked under kettle and lamp, on cover bezel and inside lamp cover
14½ in. (36.8 cm.) high
gross weight 73 oz. 14 dwt. (2,292 gr.)
The arms are possibly those of Stanesby impaling Curteis.
