The present watch combines several highly desirable features: a rare pink gold case with rectangular chronograph buttons, a charismatic silvered matte dial with triple outer scale and an excellent overall condition.

This watch stands out by its charismatic and original silvered dial and its excellent overall condition.

Reference 2508 was introduced into the market in the mid 1930s. The first generation featured oval chronograph buttons, whereas the second series were fitted with rectangular pushers, such as the present watch.
Different versions of reference 2508 are described and illustrated in I Cronografi Rolex - La Leggenda, Pucci Papaleo Editore, pp. 80-91.
