Comprising juz' I to XV, juz' XVII and XVIII, and juz' XX to XXVIII, Arabic manuscript on paper, each folio with 5ll. of large black muhaqqaq script, with gold and polychrome roundel or rosette verse markers, sura headings in gold thuluth script outlined in red or in red script, text within double red-ruled frame, some juz' with interlinear translation in black naskh script sometimes verging on nasta'liq script, with marginal medallions illuminated in gold and polychrome, opening bifolia with gold and polychrome illuminated headpieces and cartouches, numerous juz' with later added illuminated shamsas, some of circular form, in 18th or 19th century leather binding with remains of stamped decoration, with blue cloth doublures with découpé decoration in the form of trefoils, with old labels, some later added notes
