With reed, ribbon and foliate borders, each piece engraved with the crowned cypher for Kaiser Wilhelm II, comprising: a pair of meat dishes, by Gebrüder Friedländer, Berlin, inscribed 1901 to bases, a pair of circular serving dishes, by D. Vollgold & Sohn, Berlin, inscribed 1897 to bases, two entrée dishes, by Gebrüder Friedländer, Berlin, one 1892, the other 1901, a silver tray by Gebrüder Friedländer, Berlin, inscribed 1899 beneath the cypher to base, and a larger tray also by the same makers, inscribed 1909
