The bowl is finely potted with deep, rounded sides rising to a slightly everted rim. The sides are decorated with a delicate cut-out band of flower sprays and covered inside and out with a clear glaze of faint blue-green tint that fills in the cut-out design and ends in a neat line at the edge of the foot.
