The shrine is modelled with the figure of Guanyin in biscuit seated in a meditative pose on a ledge within a grotto, above two acolytes standing on outcroppings of rocks, and beneath an arch of openwork scrolling leaves with further leaves rising from a bird on one side and an amphora resting on a ledge on the other. The reverse has two circular apertures.
