A CARVED RHINOCEROS HORN FLORAL-FORM LIBATION CUP
QING DYNASTY, 18TH CENTURY
The cup with flaring sides is carved in the form of a large magnolia flower with six overlapping petals. The exterior is detailed with serrated leaves borne on gnarling branches extending upwards to form the handle issuing buds. The material is of a rich honey colour.
