LATE MING/EARLY QING DYNASTY, 17TH CENTURY
The cup is carved on the exterior with a textured surface to simulate a rocky landscape, serving as a backdrop for chrysanthemum rising from the rock rendered in high relief, opposite to two branches of entwined begonia growing from rock, which with the pierced rock form the openwork handle with a blossom spreads over the interior rim.
