A vase of same decoration also illustrated in Charles Hajdamach, British Glass 1800-1914, Antique Collectors' Club, Suffolk, 1991, p.309, where the author also explains this type of vase had previously been attributed to an unspecified English source mainly due to the patent mark to the underside.
