Contemporary red morocco, brass frame mounted on sides with shaped corners, upper side centred with the crowned cipher of Alexander II in brass, spine gilt, edges gilt, moiré silk endpapers (rebacked preserving the original spine, some soiling). Provenance: Alexander II of Russia (binding, bookplate).
