This Rococo overmantel mirror exhibits the English interpretation of the style in its symmetry and use of an oval plate. Formerly with Frank Partridge & Sons Ltd., the mirror is illustrated in G. Wills, English Looking Glasses, 1965, p.114, fig.125, and H.F. Schiffer, The Mirror Book, 1983, p.126, no.294.
