The rectangular moulded cornice above a pair of doors, each centred by a vase of flowers and perching bird surrounded by foliate cartouches, the reverse of each door with similarly inlaid arched panels and with marquetry interior with twelve drawers around a central cupboard enclosing three further small drawers, the sides also decorated with vases of flowers on a stand with a long frieze drawer and spiral turned ash legs joined by shaped stretchers on turned feet, the legs apparently originally ebonised, metalwork replaced
