The maiden of Spring

Frantisek Brunner, known under the pseudonym Franz Dvorak, was a well-known Czech painter. He studied at the Prague Academy, at the Vienna Academy and from 1883 at the Munich Academy. He lived in Italy, France, and America where he established himself as a portrait painter. His skill in this genre is seen in this painting.
