With blued octagonal tip-up barrel engraved with a band of foliage at the muzzle, border and scroll engraved blued action, spurred trigger-guard and butt-cap, chequered walnut butt, and retaining much original blued finish throughout, London proof marks, in original fitted oak case lined with dark purple baize, the lid with Joseph Lang trade label, the exterior with circular brass escutcheon
