A WHITE-GLAZED LOBED GLOBULAR JAR
FIVE DYNASTIES PERIOD (907-960)
The slightly compressed body is divided into lobes by five vertical indentations below the lipped rim, and is covered inside and out with a glaze of chalky-white color that falls in an irregular line above the foot to expose the fine white ware. There are faint traces of a character written in black on the unglazed base.
4¾ in. (12 cm.) across
