A PAIR OF HUANGHUALI HORSESHOE-BACK ARMCHAIRS, QUANYI

Each has a continuous curving top rail terminating in outward sweeping hooks above shaped spandrels, and is supported by both curved and straight supports, as well as an S-shaped back splat. The soft mat seat is set within a beaded rectangular frame raised on rounded legs and with a beaded apron and shaped spandrels. The rounded legs are joined by stepped stretchers and footrest above a plain apron.
