In Charles II style, each wall-plate repoussé and chased with scrolls, foliage, and rocaille on a matted ground, centering an oval cartouche engraved with a coat-of-arms and crest within crossed fronds, the candle arms formed as serpents issuing from a wild mask, each with an octagonal socket, marked on reverse of wall-plates, one arm and all four sockets
