The rectangular top with canted corners with later red leather writing surface above a frieze decorated with applied strap-work and scroll angles inset with two frieze drawers, on facetted twin column supports joined by a conforming stretcher, the concealed castors stamped 'COPE'S PATENT', one drawer stamped 'HOLLAND & SONS'
