The vase is carved to the body with a continuous band of taotie masks above a band of stylised stiff leaves, the neck has mythical animal mask handles to each side with loose rings, and further incised decoration of stiff leaves, the cover is surmounted by a seated Buddhist lion, the stone has apple green inclusions.
