A GILT-BRONZE 'QILIN' CENSER AND COVER

The beast is cast standing foursquare with its head formed as the hinged cover. It is detailed with its mouth open and teeth bared. The mane and tail are finely delineated and it wears a tasseled collar with a bell around its neck.
