A RARE PAINTED ENAMEL 'ZHAI JIE' PENDANT
QIANLONG PERIOD (1736-1795)
The pendant is enamelled to the centre with two characters reading zhai jie and surrounded by butterflies, melons and flowers. The reverse is enamelled with Manchu script. The pendant is framed by an openwork frame embellished with kingfisher feathers and paste-set gems.
