The widest side of the censer is finely incised with a taotie mask divided by a raised notched flange, which is repeated at the corners. The vessel is supported on four cabriole legs emanating from monster-masks. The cover is delicately pierced with lotus scrolls and surmounted by a small qilin forming the finial. The stone is of an attractive even pale tone.
