A pair of similar, though slightly larger (24.7 cm.) white jade parfumiers with green jade ends, also carved with figures in landscapes, was sold in our Hong Kong rooms, 7 July 2003, lot 753, where they were dated to the 18th century. See, also, two related white jade parfumiers in the Qing Court collection, illustrated in The Complete Collection of Treasures of the Palace Museum, Jadeware (III), Hong Kong, 1995, nos. 36 and 37, where they are dated to the Qianlong period.
