Each with central ovoid marble vase within three hipped uprights with hoof feet supporting a central candelabrum and two tiers of scrolled branches with swag-cast and floral nozzles with acanthus drip-pans, atop a tripartite base set with Apollo masks and a concave sided marble base with vitruvian scrolled plaques and fruiting toupie feet

These finely-cast candelabra are after the model attributed to Pierre Gouthière and supplied probably by the marchand-mercier Darnault for Marie-Antoinette's Salon du Jeu at the Petit-Trianon in 1785 (see P. Verlet, Les Bronzes Dorés Français du XVIIIe Siècle, Paris, 1987, p. 99, fig. 111).
