Kitae [forging pattern]: finest ko-itame with rich and even ji-nie overall
Hamon [tempering pattern]: broad suguha of konie
Boshi [tip]: ko-maru
Nakago [tang]: osuriage and machi-okuri, kiri file marks, two mekugi-ana, kirijiri
Habaki [collar]: double gold-clad
Nagasa [length of blade]: 82.1cm.
Koshirae [mounting]: katana koshirae, black lacquer saya with finely traced stylized clouds, kojiri of shibuichi migakiji, shakudo kashira with a dragon among clouds in takazogan with gold and silver inlay, and shakudo fuchi with two karashishi in takazogan with gold inlay, menuki with arrowheads in shakudo with silver and gold inlay, round iron tsuba pierced with a central lozenge carved with waves, the edges and rim with scrolling in gold hirazogan
