A group of 7 hand-coloured engraved maps and views of Austria including: ORTELIUS, Abraham (1527-1598). Salisburgensis Jurisdictionis locorumque vicinorum vera description. Antwerp: 1587. Engraved map, 420 x 530mm. [And another map by Ortelius:] Salisburgensis Iurisdictionis. Antwerp: Robert Bruneau, 1609. (The colouring probably by a later hand) 380 x 465mm. -- MERCATOR, Gerard (1512-1594). Saltzburg Archiepiscopus et Carinthia Ducatus. 1650. (Creased, repaired tears and splitting to fold) 380 x 500mm -- BRAUN & HOGENBERG. Saltzburgk, Recens et Accuratissima Urbis Salisburgensis Delineation. 1581-88. 325 x 500mm. Together with a view of Salzburg from: SCHEDEL, Hartman (1440-1514). Liber chronicarum. Nuremberg: Anton Koberger, 1493. (Right hand page slightly yellowed, 2 leaves joined to the centre possibly supplied from two different copies). Sold as a group of framed maps not subject to return. (8)
