Carved in openwork with a horned dragon clutching a flaming pearl as it writhes amidst an intricate network of vapor, with a small pierced rock at the bottom above the slightly convex oval base pierced for attachment, the stone of white and dark grey color; together with a small openwork wood table screen, inset with a white jade rectangular plaque, Ming dynasty, carved with a qilin striding above rocks and waves and below two birds, with two ribbon-tied jars to either side
